Dr. Jensen has over ten years of experience as a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. She believes in a team-
based approach to patient care and enjoys partnering with families to determine what treatment will best suit their needs. She works closely with psycho-therapists, counselors and primary care providers to coordinate care, while offering feedback.
After completing medical school from Loma Lina University in 2005, Dr. Jensen completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fl. She then did a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Medical University or South Carolina.
Dr. Jensen provides medication management for adults, and children and adolescents age 3 to 18. She is experienced at treating a variety of conditions, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. She has a background providing care for children of military service members and understands the unique needs of this population. She has also worked extensively with children in foster-care placement and the Native American community.
Dr. Jensen is currently accepting new patients. She welcomes inquiries from individuals, parents and providers in the community.
