LaShell Pope, LMFT is a license marriage and family therapist and is currently providing
individual, couples/marriage, group and spiritual counseling via tele mental health in Georgia.
LaShell’s mode of therapy is collaborative using solution focused, cognitive behavioral therapy
and Brownian therapy concepts. She provides pre-marital and marriage counseling,
depression, anxiety, PTSD, anger management, spiritual and grief therapies.
Her expertise is in relationship and marriage counseling and she is a certified trainer/facilitator
for Prepare-Enrich and Level 1 Gottman certified. Since she has been in the profession, she has
developed a passion for working with couples in crisis using the Gottman method. She
believes that by working towards creating a balance in every area of your life you can move
towards being your Authentic S.E.L.F. (Secure, Empowered, Living Faithfully)
Lashell has experience working with diverse populations including adults and adolescents of
many different races, cultures and ethnicities. Cultural competence is a key component to
remaining aware and skillful in helping clients in their emotional, mental and spiritual journeys.
