Psychological testing provides you and our clinicians with an evaluation that can help us better understand the most appropriate form of treatment. We have psychologists that specialize in a different types of assessments. The focus is on three main areas: 1).Learning assessments, such as Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia and Processing Speed; 2). Behavioral Assessments, such as ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and ODD (Oppositional Defiance Disorder) and; 3) Pres-surgical Assessments including bariatric and transplant patients. The tests are administered to both children and adults depending on each individual case.
Once evaluations have been completed you will have access to the psychologists report. We take on a comprehensive approach to treatment and will use this evaluation to determine the most appropriate steps for your care. We will take time to educate you on the use of medication or therapy if we find it is the appropriate direction to take.
